ENID, Okla. — OKEENE — Marie (Lucy Mary Frances) Huhman passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at her home in Okeene, Okla., at the age of 93. She was born to Frank and Mary (Bowmaker) Kirchner on the family farm in Major County, Okla., on Nov. 20, 1918.

Marie worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., during World War II.
Following the war she returned to Okeene, where she married Henry Huhman on April 15, 1947. To this union, three children were born, Mary Margaret (Ron) Werth of Hutchinson, Kan., Rose Anne (Jim) Monahan of Murrysville, Pa., and Anthony (Judy) Huhman of Enid, Okla.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years; five brothers, Anthony, Edward, Robert, Leo and Billy; and one sister, Clara.

She is survived by her children, eight grandchildren, Jason Huhman, Joseph Huhman, Jeremy Huhman, John Huhman, Sean Monahan, Kathleen Marie Monahan, Anne Marie Werth and Phillip Werth; as well as six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Rosary service for Marie Huhman will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Okeene, Okla. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Okeene, Okla. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Okeene, Okla., with Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Circle of Love, St. John’s Boarding School in India or St. Anthony of Padua Building Fund with Wilkinson Mortuary as custodian.
