DUMAS - Lucille Horton, 86, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with Steve Walker, minister of Ninth and Bliss Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Texola Cemetery at Texola, Okla.
Ms. Horton was born Sept. 7, 1915, at Baum, Okla. She was a Texola resident from 1960 until 1995, when she moved to Dumas. She was a homemaker and member of Ninth and Bliss Church of Christ. She married Thomas T. Horton on June 23, 1932, at Frederick, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970; a daughter, Wilma Jean Bunge; and a son, Robert Horton.
Survivors include three sons, J.W. Horton of Lynchburg, Tenn., Gerald Horton of Dumas and Johnnie Horton of Denver; three daughters, Genevie Harrison of New Waverly, Lillian Powers of Fort Lupton, Colo., and Christine Walker of Odessa; a sister, Louise Haynes of Fresno, Calif.; two brothers, Ansel Greenway of Hereford and J.R. Greenway Jr. of Henryetta, Okla.; 24 grandchildren; and 30 grandchildren.
The family will be at 511 Forest Drive in Dumas.
