CLINTON, Okla. - Davis Loy "Heavy" Harvey, 75, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002.
 
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Springcreek Baptist Church of Sayre with the Rev. Jim Clark officiating. Burial will be in Springcreek Cemetery by Stanley-Lee Funeral Home of Clinton.
 
Mr. Harvey was born May 15, 1926, in Collingsworth County, Texas, at his grandmother's home to Loy and Hester (Davis) Harvey. He was raised in Collingsworth and attended school at Abra and Samnorwood.
 
He served in the Marines and in March of 1954 he married Miss Nadine Harvey in Wellington, Texas. He worked as a rancher and cowboy and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He also raised rabbits and enjoyed gardening.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gerald Harvey.
 
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, LaRhonda Hamilton of Clinton, Debra Weis of Perryton, Texas, Brenda Harvey of Guthrie and Lorri Richmond of Charleston, S.C.; a son, Shelby Harvey of Oregon; a sister, Barbara Kilmartin of Muskogee; a brother, Wilton C. Harvey of McLean, Texas; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
