Mrs. C. A. (Pernie Rachel) Plummer, 1216 West Fifth, Elk City, died Sunday, October 30, 1960 in and Elk City hospital following a three month illness.
Services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m in the Berlin school auditorium with Leland Knight, Boonville, Arkansas, Minister, officiating.
Born March 9, 1889 at Willow Springs, Kansas, she came to Stillwater in 1901 with her parents and to Berlin in 1905 where she resided until 1950 and moved to Elk City. She was married February 26, 1907 at Doxey to Charles A. Plummer, who died July 14, 1960.
She was a member of the Berlin Church of Christ.
Survivors included seven daughters, Mrs. Lillie Maddux, Fundale, Washington, Mrs. Anna Wilson, Henderson, Tennessee, Mrs. Gertrude Flenner, Torrance, California, Mrs. Dorothy Flenner, Sayre, Mrs. Mary Brown, Grimes, Mrs. Helen Seales, Sayre, Mrs. Evelyn Mackeyu, Sayre; three sons, Adam of Center, Colorado, Charles Jr. and Calvin R. both of Sayre; one sister, Mrs. Mary Marcum, Sayre, one brother, William Wells, El Monte, California, 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. One son died in infancy.
Burial will be in the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Martin-Hullum funeral home in charge of arrangements.
