Opal Wright Mabra

Opal Wright Mabra was born July 29, 1911 in Erick, OK to Lizzie and Frank Lane and passed away June 19, 1995 in the Country Club Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Opal married Elda Wright, August 18, 1928 and he preceded her in death on October 16, 1969. On June 3, 1970 she married Bill Mabra in Wheeler, TX and he preceded her in death on February 25, 1993. Opal lived most of her life in Reydon where she was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Jana Kay Holley, Phoenix, AZ; 3 sons, Lester Lewis Wright, Amarillo, TX, Donnie Ray Wright, Cheyenne, OK, Ronnie Lee Wright, Amarillo, TX, 2 brothers, Leon Lane, Allison, TX, Joe Lane, Amarillo, TX; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Billy Gene Wright, 4 sisters, Maggie Lane, Beda Mae Lane, Myrtle Lane and Jewel Lane, 1 brother, George Lane and 5 grandchildren, Brandi, Cody, Christina, Shad and Davis.

Services were June 22, 1995 at the Reydon First Baptist Church officiated by Allen Mabra. Interment was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne.
