Leonard Doyle Myers was born March 5, 1939, to Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Myers of Reydon, Oklahoma. He departed this life December 31, 1946 at
the age of 7 years, 10 months and 26 days. Although this child was
only permitted to be with his family for a few short years, the
happiness he gave them can never be replaced. But as the Lord giveth
so does He taketh away.
Leonard Doyle Myers is survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Myers of Reydon, Okla.; six sisters, Mrs. W.E. Turner of
Croning, Calif.; Mrs. Welthy Purvis, of Croning, Calif.; Maggie myers
also of Croning, Calif.; Mrs. D.M. Bynum of Pampa, Texas; Mrs. frankie
Sutton of Mayfield, Okla.; and Billie Myers of the home address. Three
brothers, Walter J. Myers of Croning, Calif.; Dee Myers of Mayfield,
Okla.; and Franklin D. of the home address. He also leaves a half
brother, Walter Jones of Reydon, Okla., and a host of other relatives
and friends.
Services were held Sunday, January 5, 1946 at Reydon, Okla., with John
Spurlin officiating. Interment was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon,
Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. The Fatheree Funeral Home of Erick was
in charge of the services.
