Funeral services for Helen Jones will be conducted Thursday, at 11:30
a.m. in the Rose Chapel officiated by Rev. Joe Perry. Interment will
follow in the Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, OK
under the direction of the Rose Chapel Funeral Home.
Helen was born July 7, 1916 in Calico Rock, Arkansas to Georgia Ann
and Victor H. Ray and died Tuesday at the age of 83. She moved with
her family from Arkansas to Erick in 1926 and then to Sweetwater. She
moved to Califkornia and then returned to Okalhoma to care for her
mother. She moved back to California and then back to Elk City and
then to Sayre to make her home. She worked at the Sayre Hospital.
