E. T. Gamble, Rt. 2, Reydon, died in the Hensley's Nursing Home Saturday night after and extended illness. Services will be Tuesday in the Reydon Community Building at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Lawrence Dunn and Rev. George Redley officiating.
He was born June 27, 1890 at Lewisville, Texas. He came with his parents to the Sunny Point Community in 1900 February 14, 1913. He was united in marriage to Zolla Mae Cox at Cheyenne then in 1925 they moved to Rankin Community in 1938. They moved to their present home northwest of Reydon.
He was a member of Reydon First Baptist Church. He was precded in death by his parents, one daughter and son and one grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors are his wife, Zella of the home, one daughter Mrs. Edith Kiny of Moore, Oklahoma, 2 sons, Grant, of Oklahoma City, OK, Roy L., Idaho, and 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 brother, John Gamble, of Erick, OK, 2 sisters, Mrs. Molly Albert, Sayre, OK, Mrs. Elsie Hill, Guymon, OK.
Grandsons served as pallbearers. Interment was in Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of Rose Chapel at Sayre, OK
