Funeral services for Donald Ray Dyson were conducted at 2 p.m., today,
from the Martin Funeral Chapel of Sayre. Interment was held in the
Sayre-Doxey Cemetery, Sayre, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction
of Martin Funeral Home of Sayre.
Donald Ray Dyson was born June 5, 1940 at Oklahoma City to Henry and
Alice Thiessen Dyson, and died Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at the age of 61.
He was raised in Oklahoma City and at the age of 19 began a truck
driving career. He and his wife Judy have lived in Sayre for the past 8
months.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Smith Dyson of Sayre home; four
children, Stanley, Linda, Donald Ray, Jr., Rodney; two sisters, Wanda
Luttrell of Oklahoma City, Jo Alice Hula of Medford; one brother, Vernon
Dyer of Oklahoma City and ten grandchildren.
