Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Davidson, 96 years old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident was held at the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne, Oklahoma on Friday morning, July 24, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. F. Milton Gage, minister from Elk City and Rev. Paul Nachtigall, minister of the church officiating. Burial was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of the Lockstone Funeral Home, Inc. of Weatherford.
Mrs. Davidson was born July 25, 1895 at Morgan, Texas and died at Southwestn Memorial Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma Tuesday evening, July 21, 1992. She was born and raised in Morgan, Texas and also attended schools in the area. Beatrice was married to Mr. Ernest Marion Daivdson on July 29, 1930 at Altus, Oklahoma. They made their home in Beckham and Roger Mills County living in the Carter and Crawford communities where they were active in farming. After retirement they moved to the Elk City area where they resided for some 20 years. Mr. Davidson preceded her in death on September 22, 1975. Beatrice moved to Weatherford in 1991 and was a resident of the Little Bird Nursing Home until her death. She attended the First Baptsit Church of Carter. Memorials may be made to the UMCA in Weatherford in care of the Robert Daivdson Youth Room or the Cheyenne Cemetery Association.
She is survived by 1 son, Marion Davidson and his wife, Dolores, Weatherford. 2 daughtgers, Lila Muriel Beaty and her husband, A.F., Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Dorsie Maye Hansen and her husband, Robert, Elk City, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. 1 brother, Mark Robinson, Springdale, Arkansas also by 4 sisters, Effie Broddrick, Grass Valley, California; Violet Brayfield, San Francisco, California; Gladyse Tabor, Oak Ridge, Oregon and Ruth Tindell, Carter, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Riley and Minnie A. Robinson; her husband; 3 brother, Homer, Frank and Joe and 2 grandchildren, Robert Daivdson and Sheryl Hall.
