Bobbie O’Dell Bills age 73 of Tuttle, answered the call of the Lord to ride on the mountain tops in Heaven, Tuesday, October 29, 2013. He was born November 8, 1939 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He was the only child of Orville Clifford Bills and Esther Lee (McCubbin) Bills. Bob spent his early years on a farm in Carter, OK. He later moved to Yukon, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school with the class of 1957. After high school Bob attended Oklahoma State University to become a Veterinarian, but left school early to ride on the rodeo circuit. Bob rode rough-stock and then worked as a rodeo clown for nearly 15 years. Bob joined the U.S. Army National Guard and proudly served his country for several years. Bob married Pat Bennett and together they raised two children, Monte and Shane. Years later he married Gayle Padgett and to this union Routy and Jamie were born. Bob enjoyed being in the outdoors and working with his hands. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Assoc. and he loved hunting and fishing. For a number of years he was a professional hunting guide and outfitter in Colorado. However for most of his life he worked as a heavy equipment operator building roads. As a young boy he had a love for horses and enjoyed working with leather and all kinds of horse tack. This was a lifelong hobby that eventually led to owning his own business, Mountain B. Saddlery. Bob was a Christian man and was a member of the Canadian County Cowboy Church in Yukon. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and as a dear friend to all that knew him.

He is survived by: Three sons: Monte Bills and wife Jeannie of Norman, Shane Bills of Oklahoma City, Routy Bills and wife Alice of Tuttle, One daughter: Jamie Cummings and husband B.J. of Purcell, Ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, Fiancé: Jerri Rust of Tuttle, And a host of other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the
Canadian County Cowboy Church, 600 E. Main, Yukon, OK. Interment will be
3:00 pm at Poarch Cemetery near Carter, OK. In Lieu of flowers,
memorials may be sent to the Canadian Valley Rangerettes, P.O. Box 64,
Mustang, OK. 73064. Arrangements are with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in
Newcastle.
