Jeff Forester was born May 15, 1977 in Elk City, Oklahoma
to Margaret Ann and Monte Russell Forester. He passed away March 29, 2017 at Elk
City, Oklahoma at the age of 39 years, 10 months and 14 days.
Jeff grew up in Elk City where he attended high school. He later worked in the
oilfield and also as a Law Enforcement and Correctional Officer. He was married
to Jamie Kamphaus at Canadian, Texas on September 26, 2003. They made their home
in Elk City where he continued to work in law enforcement before returning to
the oilfield. Jeff enjoyed hunting, shooting, weightlifting, rock climbing,
watching movies, playing video games and being around his dogs but he mostly
loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Danny Moore, his "Granny"
Priscilla Evans, his grandparents, Bill Forester and Edgar and Wanda Steele, his
stepfather, David Moore, and stepgrandfather, Eddie Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie, of the home; 3 children, Lexie and Remie
Forester, of the home, Joseph Ramon and wife, Chriselda, and their children,
Amarillo, TX; his mother, Margaret Moore, Clinton, OK; a sister, Jennifer Ramsey
and husband, Carl, Cordell, OK; his grandmother, Lea Forester, Amarillo, TX; his
mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Chris Kamphaus, Canute, OK; his
sisters-in-law, Jessica Kamphaus, Canute, OK, and Jill Drinnon and husband,
Chris, Canute; and a host of other relatives and friends.
