Illness Fatal to Mrs. Fitzgerald
Rites to be Held Here Thursday
Mrs. Floreen Fitzgerald, 21 years old, wife of W. B. Fitzgerald of Elk City, died at the local hospital at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday after a year's illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Grubitz and Son chapel with Joe W. Laird, minister of the Second and Adams streets Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Merritt cemetery.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born January 4, 1908, in Grayson County, Texas. She was married August 12, 1925 to W. B. Fitzgerald, moving to Beckham county two months later to make their home.
Mrs. Fitzgerald is survived by her husband and one daughter, Floretta, both of the home address; her father, W. W. Smith of Spearman, Tex., and five brothers and fours sisters.
Brothers are Leslie Smith, Udell “Buss” Smith, and Dewey Smith all of Spearman, Tex.: R. D. Smith of Perryton, Tex., and Coy Smith of Hammon, OK. Sisters are Nadine Smith and Frances Smith, both of Spearman, Tex.: Mrs. Opal Hayworth of Beaver, OK and Effie Smith of Elk City.
