Georgia moved with her family to Arkansas and later to the Mayfield community in 1940. She graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1949. She was married to Kenneth Lee "Bill" Reed on March 24, 1949. They continued to live on the Reed Family home place where they farmed, ranched and raised their 5 children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 1 sister.
She is survived by 3 sons, Kenneth Reed and wife Tammy, Mayfield, OK, Ricky Reed and wife, Monni, Mayfield, OK, Steve Reed, Mayfield, OK, 2 daughters, Nancy McIntyre, Erick, OK, Jeanie Bell Adams and husband, David, Dallas, TX, 1 sister, Norma Anderson, Amarillo, TX, 1 brother, Eddie Kerr, Canyon, TX, 12 Grandchildren, a host of Great and Great Great Grandchildren, her caretaker Susie Goode, Sweetwater, Oklahoma and other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018, 2:00 PM at the Mayfield Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home.
