Richie Lee Shelton was born October 24, 1955 in Sayre,
Oklahoma to Clarabelle Fay and Alfred Dean Shelton. He passed away November
28, 2014 at Carnegie, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 1 month and 4 days.
Richie grew up in Sayre and began working with his father driving a backhoe
and ditchwitch. Richie lived in Sayre until ill health forced him to move to
Carnegie, Oklahoma to be near family.
He was a member of the Sayre Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death
by his parents and 2 brothers, Larry Ray and Lonnie Gene.
He is survived by his 1 daughter, Tiffany Marie Foster, Marlow, OK; 1 son,
Richard Shelton, Sayre, OK; 7 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Susie Faye Shelton,
Sayre, OK, Vonda Sue McSperitt, Carnegie, OK and Vickie Dawn Dye, Sayre, OK;
2 brothers, Billy Dean Shelton, Sayre, OK and Donal Wayne Shelton, Sayre, OK
and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Rose Chapel
officiated by Gary Quinn. Burial will be at Lone Oak Cemetery under the
direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at
