Christina "Chrissy" Rogers was born July 14, 1998 in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. God blessed Sherry and Glenn Rogers with Chrissy on August 17, 1999.
She passed away February 8, 2017 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 18 years, 6
months and 24 days.
Chrissy grew up in the Merritt community and faced many challenges. With help
from family and dear friends she overcame and thrived under the love and support
of the Merritt community. Chrissy was currently a senior and enjoyed going on
long rides in the car, playing in her grandmother's wheelchair, listening to
"peppy music" and having her dad pull her in the wagon behind the riding lawn
mower. She was also a member of Grandview Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rex Wisecarver.
She is survived by her parents, Glenn and Sherry Rogers, Merritt, OK; 1 sister,
Cynthia Rogers and her son, Jaxon, Elk City, OK; grandparents, Lola Wisecarver,
Merritt, OK and Carol and Lucrecia Rogers, Shalimar, FL; 3 great aunts, Shirley
Alexander, Elk City, OK, Wilma Fender, Merritt, OK and Edna Brady, Marlow, OK
and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
