Funeral services for Hazle Moore Robinson will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 from the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City with Tom Harguess officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home.Hazle was born February 25, 1896 close to the Kansas border north of Alva to Edgar and May Flint Moore and died Monday at the age of 103.
She attended school at Duncan and then Siloam Springs, Arkansas where she graducated from the ninth grade.
She moved to Carter where she lived from 1913 until 1916 where she helped the teacher at Ural for two years.
She then attended Weatherford State Norman College where she received her teaching certificate.
She taught at Pink and Rock.
She was married to W. A. "Pat" Robinson on February 10, 1920 at Cheyenne and they were married 56 years.
She was a member of the 2nd & Adams Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; one sister; and one grandson.
Survivors include two children, Alice Wanda Robinson of Elk City; and Jon Norman Robinson of Elk City; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous friends.
