Terry grew up in Burns Flat, Oklahoma where he attended school. When his father passed away, he quit school and began working to provide for his family as a mechanic. In 1965 Terry was drafted into the United States Army where he served during Vietnam stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged in July of 1967 and moved to Dallas where he was employed by Tom Thumb grocery store and advanced from stocking to the position of store director. Terry remained in Dallas for five and one-half years until he returned to Western Oklahoma and opened Price Automotive. He was married to Marianne Rita Byrne at Las Vegas, Nevada on June 26, 1976. Together they made their home in Foss and during the 1980's he worked in the oil field for various companies. It wasn't until the late 80's when he began his employment with Tolen Mechanical as a refrigeration engineer. He continued with Tolen until 2004 when he moved to Tulsa to further his career in ammonia refrigeration. Terry retired in 2012 and moved back to western Oklahoma to make his home. He enjoyed attending all forms of car racing at Sayre and Elk City, going to car shows and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 brothers, C.A. Price and his twin brother Jerry Price.
He is survived by his 3 children, Tracy White, Clinton, OK, Terry Price II and wife, Mendy, Elk City, OK and Michael Price and wife, Alicia, Elk City, OK; 9 grandchildren, Lindy Hampton, Courtney Allen, Brendan Price, Dru Price, Carly White, Mason Price, Carson Price, Anna Price and Kyleigh Price; 1 great grandson, Bryler Allen; step father, Clifford Kirk, Elk City, OK; 1 brother, Bill Price and wife, Suzy, Houston, TX; 1 sister, Lilly Varnell, Elk City, OK and a host of other relatives and friends. Services are under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service.
