Paul Allen Phillips was born July 22, 1969 in Leadville, Colorado to Geraldine and Paul Andrew Phillips. He passed away April 29, 2002 in Elk City, OK at the age of 32 years, 9 months and 7 days.
Paul was raised and attended school in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He worked at Moler Construction in Cheyenne before moving to Elk City 1993 where he was employed with Fish Construction.He was married to Cheryl Lowry at Sayre, OK on September 30, 1994 and they made their home in Elk City. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and checking his cows.He was preceded in death by his father.Services will be held Thursday Mary 2, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at Whinery-Savage Chapel, officiated by Roger Woodson.Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service of Elk City, OK.Survivors include: wife, Cheryl of the home; 3 daughters, Jodie Coats, Shelby Coats, all of the home, Misti Coats of Sayre, OK; mother, Geraldine Phillips of Cheyenne, OK; twin brother, Charles Phillips of Cheyenne, OK; brothers, Warren Phillips of Cheyenne, OK, Kit Phillips of Cheyenne, OK; sisters, Rita Jones of Moore, OK, Anna Rice of Cheyenne, OK, Jody Wright of Cheyenne, OK, Debbie White of Elk City, OK, May Smith of Sayre, OK and host of other relatives and friends.
