Michael grew up in Elk City where he attended school. He began his career in the oil field at a young age and started at the bottom and made his way to the top. Michael was married to Donna Warner in March of 1966 and to this union 2 children were born, Michael Keith and Terry Wayne. He enlisted in the United States military in 1968 and served stateside at Fort Carson until his discharge in 1970. After his discharge he returned to the oil field where he continued his career working his way to a consultant. Michael was a very smart, handsome man that worked hard to provide for his family and he will always be remembered for quick wit and willingness to crack a joke at any given opportunity. He also enjoyed being on the boat, fishing, picking his "Boo" up from the bus stop and making her special chocolate milk and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Ronnie McSperitt, 1 granddaughter, Maycie McSperitt.
He is survived by 2 children, Mike McSperitt and wife, Mary and Terry McSperitt and wife, Tammy, both of Elk City, OK; 5 grandchildren, Mika McSperitt, Morgan McSperitt, Keely Cox, Kaylie McSperitt, Rowdy McSperitt; 3 great grandchildren, LaceLynn, Langston and London; his companion, Michelle Habekott, Carter, OK; 6 brothers, Junior Dale, Watonga, OK, Gary McSperitt and wife, Elizabeth, Elk City, OK, Terry McSperitt and wife, Linda, Watonga, OK, Larry McSperitt, Watonga, OK, Tim McSperitt and wife, Kim, Watonga, OK and Rod McSperitt, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 sister, Debbie McSperitt, Watonga, OK and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
