(permission granted)
She is preceded in death by Father Leon Main, Mother Viola Main, Brother Darrel Main , Sisters, Connie Callahan, Sheryl Howe, first Husband Russell Still, Second Husband Ralph McCaskill, son Monty Still.
On March
17th, 2021 with all her children in the room, they prayed for
comfort as Barbara took her last breath in a very relaxing and
comfortable atmosphere with all the sufferings of this world
were laid aside for the going home to be with Jesus for our
beloved Mother and caretaker of many. Barbara has lived a very
memorable life from a very young age to now. She married Russell
J Still at a young age where she birthed 3 sons and a daughter.
Russell died very unexpectedly. Barbara could have given up, but
took her four young children and raised them to the best of her
ability. She also had to go to nursing school during the day and
work nights to support her children. She worked 30 years as a
nurse and cared for a lot of patients. She took care of all
those that preceded her in death and was there to give them
relief., spiritual support along with a loving hand and hug with
a big kiss. She never let anyone leave without a simple I Love
You. Our mom and friend will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held in the Whinery Chapel on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM with burial following at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service.
