Vicente was born March 21, 1944, in Odem, TX, to his family Jesus and Eugenia (Trigo) Marin. Vicente and his family have lived in the Elk City area since 1984. In his younger years he grew up in Edroy, TX. In 1961 Vicente took Miss Amelia Medrano as his bride in Clinton, OK. From this union 5 daughters were born. Vicente loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, landscaping and was told he had a green thumb. He could grow any plant in any weather. Vicente also enjoyed playing Mexican bingo with his family and friends. Many hours were spent with his family cheering on his Dallas Cowboys and O.U. Sooners. He was a true Oklahoma sports fan. Vicente’s dearest treasure and love was for his family. Nothing pleased him more than spending cherished time with his family and grandchildren. They were truly the love of his life.
