Imogene Kisinger was born June 17, 1924 in Graham, Texas to Annabelle and Joseph Baldwin Davis. She passed away January 6, 2015 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 19 days.

Imogene grew up and attended school in Graham, Texas. After her schooling, she became a co-owner of B&I Variety Store in Earth, Texas. In 1957, she moved to Shamrock and worked as a sales clerk in the clothing retail industry until 1964 when she moved to Elk City, Oklahoma. She began working at the Kelwood Factory in Clinton, Oklahoma where she was a seamstress making bedspreads. It was here that she made many friends and felt that her time was well spent. Imogene opened her own business, Imogene's Maternity and Uniforms in 1977 and was very successful. She provided nursing uniforms to Burns Flat, Altus and Weatherford nursing schools along with many restaurants including the Flamingo restaurant here in Elk City. Imogene brought her daughter in and allowed her to begin her own business with a children's line of clothing. Imogene and Pam worked side by side for over 5 years. It was at this time in her life that she began to think about "retirement" which lasted 4 weeks when she began working at Swartz Drug for another 8-10 years before her real retirement. Imogene enjoyed attending church, fellowshipping with her brothers and sisters in Christ, traveling and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Larry Paul Kisinger, 1 daughter, Patricia Jo Bonifield, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Survived by her 1 daughter, Pam Patrick and husband, Jack, Elk City, OK; 2 grandchildren, Billy Bonifield and wife, Rocky, Pasadena, CA; and David Sellers and wife, Susan, Yukon, OK; 1 great granddaughter, Kaycee Sellers, Pampa, TX; son-in-law, Jackie Bonifield and wife, Kim, California; 1 sister, Zada Scott, Ft.
