Rena was born January 20, 1940, in Bakersfield, CA, to her parents: Bowen and Rosiena (Anderson) Harwell. Rena spent most of her life in Stockton, CA, where she attended beauty school and operated her beautician business for over 40 years. She and David Julian were married February 25, 1991, in Wheeler, TX. They have made Elk City their home since. Rena enjoyed oil painting and music. She and David loved traveling. They visited the Caribbean, Alaska, and every state but nine. Rena was a true adventurer.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years: David Julian of the home, 1 daughter: Lori Kieninger of Elk City, OK; 1 grandson: Patrick Brown of Elk City, OK; as well as a host of longtime friends and neighbors.
Rena is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, August 6, 2021, at Fairlawn Cemetery with Anthony Pennington officiating. Services are under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service.
