Hayden Scott Helton was born May 16, 2005 in Elk City,
Oklahoma to Stephanie Dawn and Matthew Scott Helton. He passed away May 27, 2016
at Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 11 years and 11 days.
Hayden grew up in Elk City where he attended schools. From a young age Hayden
was drawn to the game of baseball and continued with the game up until present.
Hayden was going into the 6th grade and besides baseball was also active in
football, playing the trumpet in band, swimming and spending time with his
friends. He also enjoyed going to the Thunder games, the Monster Jam event,
practicing baseball every day his stepdad and brothers and playing games with
his Blue Jays teammates.
Hayden was preceded in death by 1 great grandmother, Martha Ann Helton.
He is survived by his parents, Stephanie Bailey and husband, Robby, Burns Flat,
OK and Matthew Helton, also of Burns Flat, OK; 2 brothers, Kamron Brown and
Mason Helton; 3 sisters, Katelynn Lemons, Addison Bailey and Hadley Helton, a
step brother Braxton Bailey, all of Burns Flat, OK; grandparents, Eddie Lemons
and wife, Pam, Elk City, OK, Ronnie Page, Elk City, OK, Lisa Desmond, Plano, TX
and Dale Helton and wife, Beth, Roanoke, TX; great grandparents, Ray and Faye
Dowdell, Elk City, OK and Thomas Helton, Wheeler, TX; numerous aunts, uncles,
cousins, other relatives and friends.
