Gene Cupp was born November 2, 1953 in Bakersfield, California
to Peggy Lue and Norman Cupp. He passed away December 2, 2014 at Elk City,
Oklahoma at the age of 61 years and 1 month.
Gene grew up in and attended school in Elk City. After his schooling, he
began his career in the oil field and continued working for the the next 37
years as a way to provide for his family. Gene's entire life was spent
around an oil rig and held various positions associated with it. Some of
Gene's best
moments in his life was spent with his family and grandchildren. He also
enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, classic cars and being a family man.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his 2 children, Tonya Travis-Graham and husband, Jerry,
Romance, AR, Gene Brooks Cupp and wife, Karlee, Elk City, OK; 4
grandchildren, Gabrielle, Chad, Grace, Amillia, 1 sister, Sheila Winingham
and husband, Randy, Elk City, OK; 3 brothers, Jerry Cupp and wife, Susie,
Elk City, OK, Norman Cupp, Broken Arrow, OK, Danny Cupp and wife, Wanda, Elk
City, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
