Stacy Michelle Cox was born August 24, 1970 in Elk City,
Oklahoma to Barbara Kay and Vernon Jay Maynard, Jr. She passed away August 7,
2016 at Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 45 years, 11 months and 13 days.
Stacy grew up in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She later moved to Elk City in 1991 and
was married to Jerry M. Cox, Jr. at Sayre, Oklahoma on June 21, 2000 and they
remained in Elk City until 2001 when she moved to Burns Flat. Stacy moved to
Dill City in 2007 to make her home. She attended Western Technology Center in
Burns Flat where she received her LPN certificate. Stacy worked at the Veteran's
Center in Clinton, Oklahoma until her health began to fail and she retired.
Stacy enjoyed watching TV, listening to music and learning new things.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry M. Cox, Jr., of the home; her children,
Tiffani Patterson and husband, Preston, Cordell, OK, Kylie Dyer and husband,
Jeromy, Oklahoma City, OK; her father, V. J. Maynard and wife, Kathy,
Weatherford, OK; brother and sisters, Julie Ryan and husband, Rick, Weatherford,
OK, Jeff Maynard and wife, Sarah, Weatherford, OK, Jennifer Staggs and husband,
Paul, Weatherford, OK, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Service Thursday, August 11, 2016Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
