Billy E. Brown was born March 30,
1940 in Goldthwaite, Texas to Mary
Hesseltine and Marshall Brown. He
passed away March 17, 2014 at
Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of 73
years, 11 months and 17 days.
Billy grew up in Mills County, Texas
where he attended school. He entered
the United States Army and served
his country. After his discharge he
moved to Elk City to make his home.
Billy began a career in the oilfield
and loved working on the farm and
driving the tractor. Billy was an
avid
hunter and fisherman while tending
his garden. He was a automobile
mechanic at heart and loved to work
on his cars.
He accepted Jesus and was baptized
at the Eastside Baptist Church when
he was in his fourties.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, 1 sister, Shirley Brown and
2 brothers, Lloyd and Bobby.
He is survived by his 2 daughters,
Malissa Warren and husband, Mark,
Regina Andel and husband, Daniel; 1
son, Lesley Brown, Elk City, OK; 8
grandchildren, 3 great
grandchildren, 4 sisters; Faye
Farris and husband Bill, Ft. Worth,
TX, Lenave Covey and husband,
Richard, Goldthwaite, TX, Linda
Hunt, Goldthwaite, TX, Elaine Morrow
and husband, Albert, Aubrey, TX; 4
brothers, Lonnie Brown and wife,
Maryann, Goldthwaite, TX, and
Kenneth Brown, Elk City, OK, Jerry
Brown and wife, Faylene, Comanche,
TX, David Brown and wife, Rachelle,
Howe, TX; and a host of other
relatives and friends.
