Sue grew up in Tangier where she graduated from high school. She was married to Kenneth Brittain on August 29, 1970 and they moved to Arizona for a short time before moving to the Texas Panhandle/Western Oklahoma and they lived in Woodward, Canadian, Miami and Wheeler. They later moved to Sayre to make their home. Sue was a substitute teacher at Wheeler Christian Academy for a time. She and Kenneth attended Wheeler Christian Center until moving to Sayre and then began attending Grandview Church in Elk City. Sue loved her children and grandchildren. She always looked forward to spending time with them and watching them participate in sports and their school activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by 3 children, Jason Brittain and wife, Retta, of Chickasha, OK, Jared Brittain and wife, Casie, of Mooreland, OK, Sherri Brittain, of Antlers, OK; 5 grandchildren, Chace Horton, Brock and Chandler Brittain, Jentry and Jett Brittain; and 1 brother, Larry Hedrick, Mesa, AZ, and a host of other relatives, and friends.
