Scott Brinkley was born August 20, 1967 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Lois Jean and Tom Troy Brinkley. He passed away January 6, 2017 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, 4 months and 16 days.

Scott mostly grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma and attended schools in Merritt. After school he began working with his father in the oil field, residential and concrete construction. Scott loved to sing, play his guitar, gardening, making wood projects, cook, can and spent many hours fishing, but his passion in life was spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rosalynn Kay Brinkley, nephew, Joshua Henry Coleman and 2 brothers, Tommy and Jerry Brinkley and brother-in-law, Matt King.

He is survived by his special companion, Connie McComb, Carter, OK; 3 sisters, Tammy King, Sherry Brinkley and Paulla Cooper and husband, John, all of Elk City, OK. Scott had numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
