Steve Andris was born August 5, 1954 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Rose Ann and James Burl Andris. He passed away August 1, 2014 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Steve was raised and grew up in Elk City. He attending Elk City schools graduating in 1972. After graduation, he was married to Brenda Jean (Cook) Andris at Sayre, Oklahoma on December 20, 1973. Steve and Brenda remained in the Elk City area where he worked for Powells dairy. In 1975, they moved to Canadian, Texas where Steve began ranching on the Mathers Ranch. They moved back to Elk City in 1989 and he went to work as a truck driver then as a crane operator for Koss Construction of Kansas. Steve was employed with Koss for 20 Years. He enjoyed going to the farm, arrowhead hunting and collecting coins.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda, of the home; 2 children, Alicia Aldridge, Carter, OK and Jason Andris, Elk City, OK; 4 grandchildren, Daci, Samantha and Richard Aldridge and Deagan Andris; his mother, Ann Powell, Elk City, OK; 1 brother, Tony Andris, Elk City, OK; 1 sister, Trudy Bruton, Seymore, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
