Z. T. ELLIS

Posted by: Tammie

From The Erick Enterprise
Dec 01, 1904

Z. T. Ellis, who lives nine miles southwest of Erick, came here six years ago and filed and now has 320 acres of land and stock and houses around Him.  He has a good farm which produces splendidly.  He made more than an Average of one-half bale of cotton this year, and now owes no man.  He is a good citizen and is always wide awake to the best interests of his Community.

He was born and raised in Georgia, and moved to Texas and from Texas to this country.  When he came here his nearest railroad town was Mangum, from which place he got his supplies.  He is contented with his home and believes this to be one of the best countries he ever saw.
