Ralph was born September 29, 1923 to his parents Hugh and Ruth (Thrasher) Rodgers in Dill City, OK. Ralph has farmed Beckham County his entire life. He and the late Lula Clymer married in November of 1976. He was a longtime and dedicated member of Erick Church of Christ. Ralph was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and farming his land. He also enjoyed tinkering and repairing lawn mowers as well. Ralph worked at B’s Filling Station for many years. He loved watching the news and keeping up with world and Erick events. Ralph just loved people.
He is survived by his 3 step sons; George and wife Karen of
Fletcher, OK, Roy and wife Ruth of Erick, OK, Frank and wife Nancy
of Wheeler, TX, 1 step daughter; Eulan Lang of Pampa, TX, 2
grandsons; Jon and wife Missy Clymer and Brett Clymer of Erick, OK,
4 granddaughters; Rhonda and husband Ray of Sayre, OK, Marty and
husband Kemper of Erick, OK, Eloise and husband Mohammed of Oklahoma
City, Hayle and husband Nick Crauthers of Erick, OK along with a
host of other relatives, friends, long neighbors and church family.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 1, 2018
the Church of Christ of Erick with Ron Goodnight officiating.
Interment will follow at Erick Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM at Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home in Erick, OK. Services are under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home.
