Erick resident Darla Laster passed from this life on January 8, 2019 at the age of 58 years in Irving, TX.
Darla was born to her parents Franklin and Barbara (Osborn) Campbell on April 8, 1960 in Ft. Worth, TX. Darla was a diesel sales clerk for many years. She was a loyal and dedicated employee of Loves Truck Stop. Her greatest love was being an entrepreneur of her HJR Gift Shop on Main Street in Erick. Darla had many hobbies. She enjoyed cross stitching, reading and was a serious shopper. Darla’s greatest love was her family. Nothing was more important than spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her 2 daughters; Wendy Briggs and Barbara Horstkoetter of Erick, OK, 4 sons; Darren Terrell, Ricky, Jessie and William Laster all of Erick, OK, 1 sister; Deadrea and husband Jack Russell of Ft. Worth, TX, 2 brothers; Darrell and wife Becky Osborn, Darren and wife Michelle Osborn, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Darla is preceded in death by her sister; Durenda McCarley, husband; Ricky Laster, (2016) and parents.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, January 11, 2019 at Texola Baptist Church with Brother Charlie Floyd officiating. Interment will follow at Erick Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, January 11, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home of Erick, OK
