Nadine passed away September 15, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born July 14, 1928 in her Towry Grandparents home about 3 miles west of Delhi, Oklahoma to Gladnie Mamie Towry Ellison and Matthew Allen Ellison.
She enjoyed playing basketball for the Delhi girls basketball team. After moving to Lawton in the early 1950’s she went to cosmetology school. This allowed her to practice her profession and still be a stay at home mother and military wife.
She married Marion Holland on November 7, 1942 in Sayre, Oklahoma. This union lasted 66 years ending 2008 when Marion passed away. From this marriage there were five children, Wayne Holland, Lawton, David Holland (Cheryl), Wichita Falls, Texas, Lyn Holland Rogers, Del City, Darla Regine (Russell) Robertson, Cypress, Texas, and Keith Holland, Lawton.
She is survived by her five children and her brother Gary Ellison, of Sayre, OK and a sister-in-law Colleen Gordon, of Erick, OK. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great children, and eight great-great children, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her dedicated care-giver and special friend, Mary Horsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marion, a great-great grandson Tanner Cobb, her brother-in-law Junior Gordon, and nephew Marion Gordon.
Pall bearers for the services are grandsons, Kevin Holland, Brian Bufkin, Jeff Holland, Adam Holland, Mark Robertson, & great-grandson Jeff Holland, Jr. Honorary pall bearers are Jason Robertson, Robbie Dusenberry, and Triston Holland.
