Jeanna Beth Rue Bobo was born March 25, 1949 in Duncan, Oklahoma
to Emma Ruth and Alpha Jefferson Rue. She passed away July 6, 2010 at Yukon,
Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 11 days.
Jeanna grew up in Lawton and graduated from Eisenhower High School 1967.
She married her high school sweetheart, John Bobo on August 25, 1967 in Wichita
Falls, Texas. They lived in Lawton until moving to the Oklahoma City area to
make their home. They had recently made the decision to relocate to Erick to be
near their children and were looking forward to the move. Jeanna was a loving
mother and devoted Mema to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew her. She was preceded in
death by her parents and a brother, Gary Lynn Rue.
She is survived by her husband, John Bobo, of the home; 3 children, Michelle Cox
and husband, Chris, Erick, Oklahoma, Greg Bobo and wife, Cheryl, Erick,
Oklahoma, Brian Bobo and wife, Jennifer, Yukon, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren,
Justin Cox and wife, Sarah, Caty Perry and husband, Tyson, Cody Cox, Garrett
Cox, Kyle Hatchel, Shaylin Bobo, Morgan Bobo, Kierstyn Bobo, Delaney Bobo, Ethan
Lee Bobo; 3 great grandchildren, Wyatt Cox, Carsen Perry and Isaiah Hatchel; her
brothers and sisters, Jimmie Mack Rue, Wichita Falls, Texas, Brenda Brawley,
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Jeff Rue, Dallas, Texas, and a host of other
relatives and friends.
