Beth "Aunt Bethy" White was born May 7, 1957 to Shirley and J.W. Merrell. She passed away December 1, 2016 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 4 months and 24 days.
Beth grew up in a military family and traveled the world with them. While living in New Mexico she married Loren Christopher and they later moved to Sayre in 1974. Beth attended Sayre Junior College and worked at Town Hall Estates Nursing Center for several years. She was later married to Perry White and she continued to make her home in Sayre where she began working as a CMA at Hensley's Nursing Home. Beth married Johnnie W. White on September 19, 2011 and he later passed away in September of 2015. She worked at both Hensley's and Northfork Correctional Facility until her health forced her to retire. Beth enjoyed fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, James, and two grandchildren, Scott and Liam.
She is survived by her 3 children, Loren Christopher, Sayre, OK, Tony White and wife, Chelsea, Sayre, OK and David Sutton, Eugene, OR; 2 grandchildren, Teegan White, and Orryn White, her sisters and brothers, Donald Merrell and wife, Katherine, Elk City, OK, Terrance Merrell and wife, Ellen, Milton, FL, Kimberly Merrell Green and husband, Larry, Sayre, OK, Darrell Merrell, Sayre, OK, Chris Wolfe, Sayre, OK, Vinia Payne, Marlow, OK, and a host of other relatives and friends.
