Donald lived in Sayre most of his life. He was married to Sandy Douglas in Wheeler, Texas and two children were born to this marriage. He was later married to Doris and he gained a stepdaughter and stepson. Donald rehabbed houses and worked construction all over Oklahoma. He also worked at Long John Silver's at one time so that he could eat all the seafood that he wanted. He called Sayre his home. He also lived in Tulsa, Bartlesville, Oklahoma City and Amarillo, TX but he always returned to Sayre. He loved snakes of all kinds and had them for pets. He also loved being outdoors on any creek, river or in the woods.
He is preceded in death by his parents, second wife, Doris, a sister, Christie Darlene, and a brother, Perry Lewis White, and niece, Jennifer White.
He is survived by his daughter, Starla White,
Elk City, OK; a son, Joe White, Houston, TX;
their mother, Sandra Douglas, Sayre, OK; 2
stepsons, Donnie, and Michael, 2 sisters,
Morene Taylor, and Valerie White, both of Sayre,
OK; 2 brothers, Fred White, and George White,
both of Wynona, OK; 2 grandchildren, Zachary
Shroyer, Deagan Andris, and Roman White; his
nephews and nieces, Chad Lamb, Tony White, and
Keith White, Freddy Taylor, Joe McDonald, Rhonda
Taylor, Stephanie Brandon, Stacy Wilson,
Christie Kirtley, Shelia Harrington, Carrie
Horton, Lena Noble,
Dana White, and Shelby White, and a host
of other relatives, and friends.
