Esperanza Sandoval was born September 4, 1997 in Elk City,
Oklahoma to Michele Diana and Pablo DeLuna Sandoval. She passed away July
22, 2015 at her home in Follett, Texas at the age of 17 years, 10 months and
18 days.
Esperanza was born and raised in Elk City and attended Northeast, Fairview
and Grandview Elementary Schools. She had moved to Follett, Texas a few
years ago with her parents. Esperanza enjoyed traveling with her mom and
dad. Together they experienced the Gulf of Mexico,
Galveston, San Antonio, Royal Gorge, Pike's Peak, the Grand Canyon and Big
Bend. She was a very special girl and will be remembered for always having a
smile on her face, even through the toughest of times.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandfathers, Eristeo
Sandoval and Sonny Wright.
She is survived by her parents, Paul and Michele Sandoval, Follett, Texas; 4
brothers, Ulis Mikles, Elk City, OK, Todd Garrett, Elk City, OK, Matt
Garrett, Elk City, OK, Alex Garrett, Oklahoma City; her sister, Hali McLain
and husband, Marshall, Elk City, OK; 3 nieces, Kaydence McLain, Trinidee
Mikles, Jazmin Mikles, a nephew, Aaron Garrett, her maternal grandparents,
Diana and Gary Martin, Elk City, OK; her paternal grandmother, Maria
Sandoval, Sayre, OK, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family requests that any food or gifts be delivered to the grandparent's
homes in Sayre or Elk City.
