O.D. "Dale" Richardson was born July 22, 1936 in Wheeler, Texas to Gladys and T.A. Richardson. He passed away November 22, 2016 at Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years and 4 months.
Dale was raised in Wheeler, Texas. He was married to Effie Alice Phillips on July 18, 1957 and they lived in Pampa, Texas. Dale worked as a Truck Driver in the oilfield industry for Chinook, Hodges Trucking, Halliburton and Plains Transportation. His job also took him to Farmington, New Mexico and Douglas, Wyoming before he moved to Elk City in 1977. After Effie passed away, he returned to Pampa and later married Barbara Lou Jarvis at Wheeler, TX on December 2, 1982 and they moved to Elk City to make their home. Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching Westerns on TV. He loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, both his wives, a son, Don Richardson, a granddaughter, Kristi Richardson, a sister, Leola Stuart, and 2 brothers, Dean and Troy Richardson.
He is survived by his children, David Richardson and wife, Cindy, Phoenix, AZ, Ginger Baumann and husband, Pat, Douglas, WY, Krista Clem and husband, Matt, Elk City, OK, and Lori Parker and husband, Jim, Ponte Verda Beach, FL; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Jim Richardson and wife, Patsy, Erick, OK, Jerry Richardson and wife, Cheryl, Wheeler, TX, and Eddie Richardson and wife, Amy, Wheeler, TX; 1 sister-in-law, Iva Richardson, Erick, OK, and a host of other relatives, and friends.
