Juretta Chrystine Owens Daniels Pope was born to J W Owens and Willie Mae Sutton Owens on August 5, 1938 and she departed this earth on November 18, 2017.

She lived the last years of her life in Conroe, Texas with her daughter Lena Bay & her family. Juretta kept them on their toes, told them many stories of her life and the love they had for each other blossomed. She had an extra special relationship with her great granddaughter Olivia, they spoke their own language. She leaves behind 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She loved Jesus, her children, music, movies & her kitty cat Felix. She worked a variety of jobs thru out her life, traveling all over, yet her heart always remained in Sayre. She lived and loved the best way she knew how. Her life was full of ups & downs, Blessing & Joys, each making her the woman she was. Juretta was a mom, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother and a friend. 
 

Juretta is preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Darnell Owens Burckhalter, brother Perry Marvis Owens Sr., son James Daniels and two husbands Brand Randolph Daniels and Lewis Boleyn Pope.
 

She is survived by daughters Jana Daniels Gerst and husband, Dennis, Willene (Lena)Bay and husband, Jerry, Alta Brown and husband, Clifford; sons Charles Daniels and wife, Elizabeth, Dallas Daniels, and Lewis Pope and wife, Aimee; her brothers Loy Owens of Cloudcroft, New Mexico and Richard Owens of Amarillo, Texas, and many nieces, and nephews including great and grand.
