Tommy Alan Plummer was born July 5, 1956 in Elk City,
Oklahoma to Wilma Faye and Calvin Reed Plummer, Sr. He passed away April 22,
2011 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years, 9 months and 17 days.
Tommy grew up in the Berlin community where he attended Berlin Schools and after
they closed the school he came to Sayre and graduated from High School in 1974.
After graduation Tommy began farming and raising cattle. He worked at the Sayre,
Shamrock, Elk City and Clinton Livestock Auctions. He later began working for HP
Drilling for a number of years. Tommy was an avid hunter and fisherman and was
always watching and supporting the Oklahoma Sooners and the Denver Broncos.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survived by his mother, Wilma Faye Plummer of Sayre, Oklahoma, 1 sister, Cheryl
McLean of Sayre, Oklahoma, 3 brothers, Calvin Plummer, Jr., of Berlin, Oklahoma,
Eddy Plummer of Erick, Oklahoma, Greg Plummer of Cordell, Oklahoma and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services were held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Fellowship
officiated by Andy Taylor. Burial will be at Sayre-Doxey Cemetery under the
direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Services. Condolences can be made online at
