Jo Ann McDowell was born August 4, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She passed away November 29, 2015 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 25 days.

Jo Ann moved from Enid, Oklahoma to Sayre in 2002 and has been a resident of Hensley's Nursing home since that time.

She is survived by the caring staff at Hensley Nursing Home and Comforting Hands Hospice.

Services will be held December 3, 2015 at 2:00 am at Rose Chapel officiated by Laura Nell Hayes. Burial will be at Sayre-Doxey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
