Linda "Darlene" McCamon was born February 22, 1960 in Elk
City, Oklahoma to Roberta and Dewitt Trissell. She passed away January 8, 2017
at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 10 months and 16 days.
Darlene grew up in the Elk City and Sayre communities where she attended school.
She married John Dale McCamon on June 4th, 1976 in Elk City, Oklahoma. They were
married for over 40 years. Darlene enjoyed taking lots of pictures and spending
time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dewitt Trissell and her father-in-law
Glen McCamon.
She is survived by her husband, John McCamon of Elk City, OK; 2 daughters, Tammy
Sue McCamon of Elk City, OK and Christina Nicole McCamon and fiancee Eli Allen
of Elk City, OK; 1 son, John Glen McCamon and wife, Shannon of Elk City, OK; 7
grandchildren Dawson, Brooklyn, Tarin, Trevon, Taisie, Bree and Jaxon all of Elk
City, OK; her mother, Roberta Davis of Sayre, OK; 2 sisters, Nancy Davis of
Wichita Falls, TX and Spring Bowman of Elk City, OK; 4 brothers, David Trissell
of Lubbock, TX, Tim Trissell of Sayre, OK, Billy Trissell of Elk City, OK and
Tom Davis of Mustang, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Encompass Home Health Care,
Faith Hospice and Dr. John Hubanks for their great care during Linda's illness.
