Clarence M Huffman May 16, 1925 - May 12, 2018

Clarence M. Huffman was born May 16, 1925 in Crystal Falls, Texas to George and
Marie (Cox) Huffman. He passed away May 12, 2018 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age
of 92 years, 11 months, and 26 days.
Clarence lived in Eliasville, Texas until moving to Sayre with his family. He
served his country during World War II with the US Army and Army Air Corps.
After his discharge, he returned to Sayre where he met Mary McDonald and they
were married on November 25, 1947. Clarence worked at the Sinclair Service
Station before becoming employed with Gulf Oil Company. He later worked for
Garth Russell at the Standard Service Station until it closed and then he went
to work at Spence and Russell's Service Station. In 1970, he and Ed Waters
became partners in an auto repair business which they operated for several
years. He and Mary later became the custodians at the Sayre First Baptist Church
until retiring in 1988. Clarence passed away just a few days shy of his 93rd
birthday. His funeral will be held on his birthday in celebration of his first
birthday in Heaven.
He is preceded in death by her parents and his best friends, Hershel Sanders and
Edd Waters.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; a daughter, Kay Dodson of Sayre,
OK; 2 grandchildren Jenni Smith and husband, Craig, of Piedmont, OK and Jason
Dodson and wife, Mandy, of Moore, OK; 2 great grandchildren, Grant Smith and
Parke Smith; a sister, Billie Anderson of Sayre, OK; 1 nephew, Donald Anderson
of Kingston, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.
