Mrs. Johnnie Colleen Fletcher, age 72, 408 North Sixth Street,
died Friday
in the Hobbs, New Mexico hospital. Memorial services were Monday at 10
a.m. in the Church of the Nazarene. Officiating was Rev. Charles Ferguson.
Burial was in the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery, Sayre, Beckham County, Oklahoma
under the direction of Rose chapel Funeral service.
Born June 14, 1905 at Troy, Johnnie Colleen Chance Sutton married S. L.
(Lo) Fletcher January 9, 1968 at Sayre. She was a member of the Church of
the Nazarene. She formerly lived in Cheyenne, Reydon, Oklahoma City before
moving to Sayre 20 years ago.
Survivors are her husband of Town Hall Estates; 2 daughters, Mrs. Willie
Mae Owens of Sayre; Mrs. Faye Roundtree of Hobbs, New Mexico; 3 sons, Tom
H. Sutton and L.E. Sutton both of Oklahoma City; Dallas Sutton, Beaver,
Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Irven D.
Dawkins of Sayre; Guy Dawkins of Oklahoma City; 2 sisters, Mrs. Edna E.
Dodson; Mrs. Alva Ward both of Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
