Geneva Faye Fish was born October 24, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Josephine Irene and Howard I. Hartzell. She passed away November 5, 2016 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years and 11 days.

Geneva, the daughter of a minister, grew up moving throughout the state of Oklahoma and ministered to families through music. During her childhood she always enjoyed going to work with her father and brother in the farm fields. At the age of 22, she was married to Stanley Fish at Sayre, Oklahoma on March 2, 1956. Together they moved to Liberal, Kansas where they resided for 5 years before moving to Sayre to make their home. In 1964 Geneva found employment with the Sayre Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aide and helped in respiratory therapy and physical therapy. She later obtained her Reflexology training in St. Louis, Missouri and worked out of her home from 1973 until 2000. After Stanley's passing in September of 2000 she went to work for the Flying J as a restaurant manager and continued until her health forcer her retirement at the age of 76. Geneva had a strong work ethic and when not working at her jobs she enjoyed yard work and making sure she had the best looking yard on the block. She was also a member of the Sayre First Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir and also the senior choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 great grandchild, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Darlena Peretto and husband, Steve, Waurika, OK, and Carol Trent and husband, Ronnie, Sayre, OK; 1 son, Wesley Fish and wife, Terri, Sayre, OK: 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Everett Hartzell and wife, Pam, Weatherford, OK; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
