Joyce Ann Brewer was born September 23, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas to Bell and Bob Brewer. She passed away September 19, 2016 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Joyce grew up in the Amarillo area. She later moved to Denton, Texas and then began traveling the US, living in California, Colorado and New Mexico. Joyce later moved to western Oklahoma and made her home in Sayre. In 1993, Joyce was chosen as Nurse of the Year and won a trip to Washington D.C. Using her nursing skills, she worked as a Caregiver for Home Health for several years. In her spare time Joyce enjoyed oil painting.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bobby Brewer.
 
She is survived by her 2 children, Jack Whitworth and wife, Christy, Whitewright, TX, and Wallace Whitworth and wife, Heather, Ft. Worth, TX; 3 grandchildren, Savannah Whitworth, Cole Whitworth, and Trinity Whitworth, and a host of other relatives and friends.
