Viola E Phillips Brauchi was born September 3, 1916 in Carter, Oklahoma to Talitha Cumi and William Alvin Phillips and passed away September 22, 1994 in the Hensley Nursing Home at the age of 78 years and 19 days.
Viola moved with her parents to New Liberty and graduated from New Liberty High School in 1934.
She married Milo Branchi on November 28, 1945 in the Methodist Church parsonage in New Liberty and they continued to make their home in New Liberty until they moved to Sayre in July of 1985 to make their home. Viola loved to be a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning.
She was a member of the Sayre United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Milo of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Donna Branchi, Pampa, Texas; and Donnie and Neta Branchi, Sayre; one sister, Louise Burden, Sayre; one brother, Woodrow Phillips, Sayre; four grandchildren, Kathy, Doug, Brian and Barry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 1994 at the Rose Chapel officiated by Albert Warnken.
Interment was in the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery, Sayre, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
