Ruth Terry Bourland was born October 15, 1945 to Ludene and Jack Terry. She passed away Thursday, May 22, 2015 at Sayre, Oklahoma at 68 years of age. Ruth was raised in Shamrock and lived in Wheeler County, Texas most of her life. She married Robert Hershell Hutchison Jr. on August 18, 1962. They lived in Amarillo and Wichita Falls, TX before moving to Wheeler, TX to make their home. After the loss of her husband Hershel on April 17, 2001, Ruth moved back to Shamrock, TX to make her home. She married Jerry L. Bourland on April 24, 2004 in Collingsworth County. They lived in Shamrock until their health began to fail. Ruth moved to Oklahoma to be near her sons in 2014, where she lived until her death.


Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Ludene and Jack Terry and her youngest brother Tony R. Terry.

She is survived by her husband Jerry L. Bourland; 2 sons Richard Hutchison and Dean Hutchison both of Granite, OK; 1 brother, Jessie Terry of Orange, TX; 1 sister Betty Terry Johnston of Pearsall, TX; 6 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
